Studio Anand Sheth Launches

For the 10 years prior to founding his independent studio, Anand grew from a college intern into the Design Director of the notable San Francisco architecture firm, Studio BBA. He worked with small teams to realize big ideas including COMMONS in Oakland, The Jesse Hotel in Reno, The Manufactory in LA, multiple Sightglass cafés in SF and a series of creative offices. He now specializes in arts-driven hospitality, community-driven residential and localized workplace environments. Continuing to balance architecture with service, Anand is also the Design Lead for GROUND – the non-profit urban platform for activating formerly vacant lots and buildings to restore Black use –, an Artist-in-Residence for Architecture and Design with Ruth Asawa School of the Arts, and an ad hoc mentor both through his alma mater, California College of the Arts, and NOMA’s Project Pipeline summer camps.
